We know now that the axis of the Earth slowly precesses because of a torque of gravitational forces acting upon it by a tug of the Moon and of the SUN. This is the direct cause of the effect known as the Precession of the Equinox, a phenomenon only recently discovered in modern times from astronomical observations. It is now known that the ancient Egyptian astronomers knew well of this effect, who were the inventors of the Zodiac calendar and was responsible for the Mathematics and Geometry embedded into astrophysical alignments and layout of The Great Pyramids on the Giza plateau of Egypt, Africa. It is well known in modern Astronomy that the star we observe today as the North Pole Star is not the same pole star that was observed by the ancient Egyptian astronomers. The spin axis of the Earth is slowly precessing at a rate such that it would require a period of time of 26,000 years to make a complete circuit, slowly passing by one star after another, before eventually coming back to the same star we observe today as the North Pole Star. Q What is this period of time called? Q What ancient civilization devised this period of time and used it for its calendar? Q What is the name of the calendar that is based on this period of time? Q We know that a complete circuit (one complete turn) is exactly 360 degrees. How old would a newborn child of today be after which time the axis of the Earth will have drifted by only one (1) degree? Q Is there a PERFECT CALENDAR? (Important question, especially for Bible students! {Use your intuition to answer and share with others.} Very Important Note: The Precessional Motion of the Poles of the Earth has been a very useful TOOL in verifying and confirming biblical accounts, when scientists examine ancient astrophysical alignments of archeological sites!!! |
