The speed of sound is roughly 760 miles per hour! At the equator (zero degrees latitude), the ground of the Earth exceeds 1000 miles per hours due to the spinning of the Earth! (A jet flying at sonic speed requires nearly 24 hours to circle the globe.)

If we looked down upon Earth, directly over the North Pole of the Earth from space, we would note a Counter Clockwise Rotation of the spinning Earth! It is found that the Moon, the SUN, and virtually all of the other Planets and most of their moons, and a great numbers of the Asteroids, all spin in this very same direction!
