SOME IMPORTANT FACTS: ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE for BIBLE BELIEVERS

  • The longevity of Methuselah was actually TEN times longer than that of any person of today who lives for 96.9 years. The Bible indicated that Methuselah actually got to see exactly 969 orbits of the Earth about the sun.

  • A modern time keeping device of today would indicate the very same lengths of the days experience by the Genesis patriarchs.

  • There is no modern technical means that would permit a knowledge of the exact day and the exact year of the birth of Christ, as the modern CALENDAR is based on the observed movements of the heavenly bodies by humankind and is not a perfect time-line indicator. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT CALENDAR FABRICATED BY HUMANS.

From this lesson, we can see now that the Bible is the authentic source of truth and knowledge and is to be taken literally. The 969 years of the life of Methuselah is to be taken literally. Methuselah actually got to see 969 trips of the Earth's orbit about the sun. It is very important for all people of faith to know that, in those days, the moon still made one trip around the Earth every month. Methuselah got to see the moon make 969 years x 12 orbits/year = 11,628 moon-orbits around the Earth during his 969-year lifetime.

The average life-time of a healthy person in the USA today may be 70 years. That person would live to see the Earth make 70 trips around the sun. The moon will appear to make one trip around the Earth per month, 70 years x 12 orbits/year = 840 moon orbits around the Earth during the 70-year lifetime of a healthy person of today. The longevity of the pre-flood patriarchs were literally more than ten times our own expected longevity of today. There is enormous evidence that lends credible support to an atmosphere that enveloped the early earth; a very much different atmosphere than that of today's atmosphere. A dense atmosphere could also explain how the ungainly pterosaur, with its stubby body and wing span of up to 11 meters, could have stayed airborne, he said." 

A Yale study published in the March 3, 2000 issue of Science independently confirms the high levels of oxygen present in the early Earth. This is consistent with modern astrophysical findings of large numbers of the Jupiter sized planets with thick atmospheres; much more dens than Earth's atmosphere. However, the dynamics of the motions of the planets and the moons have not changed significantly since then and still continue to have the very same rates of physical motion due to the absence of friction acting on the movement of the heavenly bodies in empty space.  Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
